The NSF grant will support more than 40 participants at this year's conference. Information on reimbursements for the allotments you received
will be provided at the registration table.
We have received funding from the National Science Foundation to provide financial support for participation in the conference. This support will be available for graduate students and recent Ph.D. recipients (having received their Ph.D. in 2006 or after). In awarding support, preference will be given to beginning researchers who present their research at the conference. Women and minority participants are especially encouraged to apply for support.
Travel awards are expected to be in the range of $400/person.

Requests for financial support should be sent by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and should include the following information:
- Name, address, institution, degree date (received or anticipated)
- Type of Visa (if not a US resident)
- Dates of arrival and departure
- Estimated expenses (for travel, lodging, meals)
- A brief curriculum vita (in pdf or plain text)
You should plan on saving your receipts for everything including meals. Participants receiving funding are expected to attend the whole conference and to purchase airline tickets at least 14 days in advance.
Requests should be made by 10 September 2010 to receive full consideration
