The Interdisciplinary Center for Applied Mathematics has its
main offices in the Wright House. The entrance area is open,
with computer access for visitors, a shared color laser printer
and copier. The front also houses our program support
technician, Misty Linkous. Eight faculty offices
provide the primary research space for most core faculty
members. Basement offices are available to graduate
students working with any ICAM faculty member. VT-LAN
provides wireless access to the Virginia Tech network from
anywhere inside the building.
An addition to the original Wright House was built in 1990
and is now used to
house graphics workstations, the ICAM server as well as
our older computer resources (32 processor SGI Origin 2000,
16 node dual athalon Linux cluster), and the ICAM conference
room.
ICAM Conference Room
The back of the Wright House contains a conference room
equipped with a 10 seat conference table, blackboard, overhead
projector and 25 chairs. To reserve the ICAM conference room,
please contact Misty Linkous.
ICAM Apartment
ICAM rents an efficiency to house long term visitors. This is
located within walking distance to the Wright House and the
Skelton Conference Center
